Woah! After reading some threads about CA laws, I have questions now.
I know someone who lives in CA and was a US Deputy Marshal officer over 20 years ago. He still has several revolvers that he acquired from that period of his life (unless he lost them in a boating accident ). I don't think he ever had to certify with some California safety card at that time (other than his law enforcement training), he doesn't have a safe, and none of his revolvers are registered that I know of.
Is he required by CA law to get a safe, get a certificate, and register his revolvers now?
