If there's a heaven his is full of unfired kits, plentiful receivers and cheap milsurp ammo.

Great guy both here and on FALFiles.

dadman, your links don't work. What was his full name? I used to do biz with Davis and Son on Jefferson. Seems they had a gunsmith named David.

Anybody know anything about derbyfals?

BTW, I'm guessing his screen name was a double entendre. There is a spot across from Louisville on the Indiana side known as Falls of the Ohio. Louisville is known as Derby City. Connection? Derby Falls? Derbyfals?

Dammit

I hate losing the good ones.

He was strong on RKBA. He was in good form as recently as the "background checks" thread.

The sun on your face;
The wind in your hair;
And a rifle in your hand.

So long, David. I wish I'd known you better.

Dang.

It puts a damper on the day, even if we never met in person. We all came to know him a little bit on THR.

My condolances to his family. Godspeed, DerbyFALS.
