Can't say exactly the cost of these different rounds but thought I'd share information to maybe help find odd or rare type ammo. For my Steyr 8x56R its $12.00 for reloading my brass 20rd. http://www.mrnambu.com/
Where I am folks ask me to make them some of the strangest stuff, I had to do a lot of research on the 11.7x51R cartridge. You can buy them at one place that I know of but at $69per 20 that gets a bit ridiculous.
It wasn't till recently I found out about the 9mm Fed rimmed cartridge, they haven't made that for a better part of 20yrs. And when you can find it (if your lucky) it can go as high as $70+ per box of 50.
So every week is an adventure around here wondering what people will ask for next.
Siamese 8x50R and 8x52R are very, very rarely seen in the wild.
You can buy brass from Buffalo Arms for about a buck fifty each (when you buy in bulk) or you have to form your own brass from 45-70 or 7.62x54R cases.
From what I've read, most of the original surplus ammo was dumped in the ocean in the '70s.
