oopps I guess I should pay more to what you said.
300 meters I see . well that most likely means you will shoot at 200 for the off hand and then also for the rapid sitting and then move back for the 300 rapid prone and 600 reduced prone.

to help with your sight ins and to get you centered on the target here are some come-ups for your highpower targets over the course of fire.
this formula works for .223, 7.62 (308) and 30-06. it will get you on paper and alot of the time in the black. caliber, bullet or velocity doesn't matter.
as you get to know your wepon you can fine tune this but it does work.

you normally have to touch up the elevation at 600 yards but the 200 and 300 come-ups are usually in the 10 and x rings no matter what rifle you are shooting.

#1 from a 100 yard zero come up 2 minutes for 200 yards

#2 from a 200 yard zero come up 3 minutes for 300 yards

#3 from a 300 yard zero come up 12 minutes for 600 yards

#4 from a 300 yard zero come up 7 minutes for 500 yards

#5 from a 500 yard zero come up 5 minutes for 600 yards

I intend to masquerade as a highpower shooter again this year. Now I just have to find my camping mattress pads and my crappy spotting scope, and make up some more reloads, and I'm back in business.
