off to a bad start...glad I removed the wood
I gave up on finding a replacement trigger that would work on a newer Model 7 CDL . I sent it in for the recall a couple of days ago...Wednesday the 21'st. I used the undamaged box mentioned in an earlier post.
I removed the wood stock, scope & rings as a unit, bottom metal, and front sight hood. I left the scope bases on the rifle. I wrapped the barreled action in bubble wrap and packed it up.
I called UPS and scheduled a pick up at home. I wasn't here when the UPS guy arrived but my wife was.
She said while walking to his truck he dropped the box on the concrete driveway. :banghead:
