refinishing options

I have a stainless steel revolver (N-frame s&w) that I would like to finish. Most of the coating options Ive found like Duracoat seem designed for autoloaders.

I would like to have Blacked out stainless, does anyone know any companies that do this for revolvers. My google searches havent been successful so far

Ford's offer black nickel. This is not a particularly tough or durable finish, but they offer it from matte to gloss black.

Cogan/APW offer black chrome. Again, not all that durable but it's black.

Like many, Robar offer one of the polymer type finishes. These are not as durable as most plated finishes but it's very black.

They also offer a true chemical blackening for stainless.
