Reloading bullet diameter for .45acp?

Shopping for bullets, I see .451 and .452 diameters available; is there a preference for .45acp? Thanks!
 
I've never seen .452 bullet di. offerings.

.451 is standard to the .45 ACP - a .452 woud I think make for more
pressure unless your're talking .451 jacketed versus .452 cast

some uh, what pre WWII .45 Colt revolvers had .rt slugs .454 I t think
with the big heavy 250 or 250+ gr. weight bullts

.451 dia is for jacketed bullets. .452 is for cast lead bullets. Even with their larger diameter, lead bullets offer less friction in the bore than jacketed bullets.
 
An oversize lead bullet will be the right size lead bullet after it has moved down the barrel one bullet length.
