Can any shotgun shell be reloaded or should only certain one be used? I am thinking a reloading slugs and have a ton of once fired mixed hulls. I plan on using the Lee Load All II to reload the slugs. Anyone have any thoughts on this idea? Thanks.

If you'll purchase the Lyman Shotshell Reloading Manual, it has numerous recipes for loading slugs, buckshot, steel and regular lead shot. If contemplating loading any kind of shotgun shells, it's a worthwhile investment.
I've loaded both slugs and buckshot using the recipes in the Lyman Manual, and I can highly recommend it and the loads they publish.

I cast slugs with the 525gr Lyman slug mold and use the load data that came with it. I also use the Load-All for slug reloading. - Phil

I agree with Fred here.
I started casting my own slugs earlier this year and use the recipe that came with the slug but the Lyman book is a wealth of info. There is alot to it so read it over a few times BEFORE you start the actual assembly.
I have shot hundreds of these slug rounds through a smooth bore and last weekend when me and my Dad went to the range, he could not get over how accurate they were shooting steel plate at 100 yards.
I was worried that the recoil might bother him since I load them pretty stout but he was more impressed with the recoil of my 375.
