First post, Hoo hoo! Anyways, I got a Remington Express 870 used for a good price. SO, I decided to Tactic-cool it out (spent twice what I paid for the gun on accessories!! ). So here is the problem, I want to put both a Top folding stock and a sidesaddle on the gun. Have the parts (Advanced Technology Top Folding Shotgun Stock and a TacStar 6rd SideSaddle). Unfortunately, I can't fold the stock up all the way with the sidesaddle on. I can cut the offending part that is in the way on the sidesaddle, but I wanted to see if anyone else has had a similar problem and what they did to solve it, before I start cutting on a perfectly good sidesaddle.
and yes I did a search and nothing applied.

there used to be a extra shell holder that attached to the folding stock,i can't remember who made it.i have altered some side saddles,as long as you don't remove one of the attaching points it will work,i would try to see if the 4 round holder will work first,if not, hack away.

The ATI stock is a piece of crap. Get the Choate Machine & Tool top folder if you HAVE to have a top folder and the SideSaddle shouldn't interfere.

I got the shell attachment for the stock. As far as using the 4rd, I believe that just positions in farther back for the forearm. The problem is the back part of the sidesaddle. Haven't seen anything about the Choate Machine & Tool top folder have to look that up. Thanks for the help.

The 4rd does knock off the front 2 spots fror the longer standard forearm so it probably won't be much help.

Thanks for the Replies. I ended up cutting the sidesaddle. I didn't have to cut as much as I thought I would, Just the back corner, along with the mounting screw for plastic part. So I only have 5 fasteners holding the plastic to the metal plate and I used some silicone adhesive for the last corner. Stock folds up well and secure. I first thought I would loose a shell or to but I didn't :D . 18 rounds of 12ga on hand is realy cool. As soon as I get access to a digital camera I will post some picks.
