Removing M48 sights

I'm getting my M48 ready for some custom work and want to remove the iron sights before taking it to a gunsmith. I know the rear sight is soldered on and can be removed by heating and tapping off, but what about the front sight?

I believe it's soldered with a set screw hidden in the dovetail under the blade.

Thanks, pulled the screw out and now I need to get to the store and get a torch so I can get them off. I have the stock, trigger, sight bases, and safety lever on order. Once it all arrives I should be able to put together a sweet shooting rifle.
