I'm going to be replacing the slide stops on my TLE II and My Custom Classic Target what are the best reasonably priced machined slide stops? and whats a good source?

Is Ed brown any good, how about cylinder and slide???

Also may be changing out the guide rods and plugs for standard length ones , so whats the best make and reasonably priced source?

Thanks

"Machined" and "reasonably priced" don't go together ;)
Either the Wilson Bulletproof or SVI will probably run you at least $45, and a Colt will be more than $60(!). A gunsmith might sell you a Colt take-off for a bargain.

Why not just shoot the Kimber part until it breaks (if ever)?

It would be greatly appreciated if I could hear from some of the Smith's here who have actual experience replacing these parts in a Kimber.
I have heard that some folks here have a box of bad kimber parts, so surely they must have used something to replace them???????

Thanks
