Resizing 45 Colt

Is it necessary to resize if all the cartridges readily fit the revolver chamber. I am shooting a Blackhawk.

OK, sorry. I just sufferred a major brain fart. Of course I have to resize them, to get the neck tension. Think I will go to bed and get some rest. My mind is obviously not capable of reloading right now.

There are people who don't resize. I'm not one of them.

Ummm... I think most pistol decapping dies resize as well.

Though it's not necessary I've recently started using One Shot case lube on pistol brass. Sure makes the 'capping/sizing job easier.
