hahaha... I can't take credit for polishing this one..

It came from the factory that way.

Apparently, there werent a whole lot with that finish from the factory. Thankfully I have the orginal shipping carton with the propper model number (GKRH-445) for a factory polished 5 1/2" Redhawk, with matching serial number. :) A somewhat rare bird.

That 44 New Service Target has my heart racing a bit!! That sure is a beauty!

This is the Colt Python I inherited from my Step-father before his passing almost 5 years ago. It was his service revolver with the local Sheriff's office until he retired. It is a 1971 in mint condition. God I love the way this gun shoots. Smooth as butter.

I like rimfire/centerfire pairs,,,

Meet my Italian girlfriends,,,
Allegra (Lively) is a Model 87 Cheetah in .22 LR,,,
Allesia (Defender) is a Model 85 Cheetah in .380 ACP.

My former Mother-in-law had a Model 87 Cheetah,,,
If I was a very good son-in-law she wuld allow me to take it shooting.

The Model 85 is only a single-stack,,,
So compared to more modern guns it's low capacity,,,
And both guns are way too expensive for what they really are,,,
But you can really feel the quality they have when you grasp one to shoot it.

I Luvs my Italian ladies.

Blacksky,

It's helpful when ya post a pic to name the gun and caliber. In the case of a fine older Smith the dob is a help as well.

It's a Model 30-1 chambered in .32 S&W Long with a 4" barrel. Serial number puts it to about 1969.
