RifleGear upper (with FN made barrel)

Most of you guys are probably familiar with RG. I was not. Kinda stumbled across their website a few days ago.

I contacted Nick (@ RG) to ask about their products. This, in particular caught my eye...

Upper: Receiver made be Daniel Defense, barell is CHF, CL, 1 in 7 made by FN, low profile gas block made by YHM...all for $379.00.

A purchasor would need to supply a BCG, CH, and rails.

They will supply YHM Diamond series mid-length rails for an additional $120.00

Seems to me, that for some of us who already have a decent BCG & CH laying around somewhere...This is a really high quality upper to be had for an extremely decent price.

Anyhow, just thought I would share with you guys. As for myself, after I am paid next week...I will order one of these. I'm going to place it on a LMT Defender lower.

They are just down the road from me. I have been there a few times and they are extremely helpful. I have been out of the AR game for a while and they spent a good amount of time catching me up. They get high marks from me.

PSA has a 24hr sale going for a FN 1-7, CMV chrome lined 16", mid gas, F marked FSB, A4 upper, no BCG or charging handle . $294 to my door.

I'm beginning to like 16" barrels, I don't have to pin the muzzle devise. The mid gas shoots nicely. There are more and more choices with mid length hand guards, Apex makes a very nice one.

Thanks for the tip. Yes the PSA stuff is nice.

I think that I will buy the Riflegear. I could be wrong, but seems to me that it is hard to go wrong with a DD made upper, a FN made CHF, CL barell and gas block by YHM.

As of right now, I can mount this on a DTI complete lower. However, in about a week or so, I can put this on a LMT Defender lower.

Either way, a pretty nice rifle.
