Rings for Ruger RPR and Vortex Viper PST 6-24x50

I took a precision rifle shooting course this weekend and realized an LR-308 was not the way to go. I am getting a Ruger Precision Rifle and a Vortex Viper PST Gen II scope.

Can somebody suggest a good way to mount the scope? I see that Vortex sells mounts and rings.

The rifle and scope are very popular, so my guess is that a lot of people have already solved this problem and know what to buy.

I use ARC-10s 1.42" high on my RPR with gen 1 Vortex Razor (34mm tube).

I was so pleased with them I added another set to a Rem 700.

Steel TPS rings on the Vortex Viper PST Gen II 5-25X50. Lots of good choices though.

They make good rings, no worries. What height did you go with?

I got extra-high rings because I saw other people claiming they worked with this scope.
