im interested in possibly buying a glock and ive visited this site called rockyourglock.com were they offer custom parts for your glock like back plates and slides. has anyone seen or ordered things of of this site?

Havent done any pimping on our glocks, but have dealt a lot with glockmeister.com. But seriously few people have parts that will increase the performance of a glock. Instead of spending several hundred $ pimping your gun, spend the money on rang time practicing.

if you get a glock, you need not do anything to it, maybe change the factory plastic sights to steel. but other than that it is good to go. no fancy triggers, no fancy plugs, buffer rings extended mag releases, mag funnels, slide releases (shouldn't be using that anyway).

get ammo, mags, gear to support it's purpose and training.

I am assuming that you are gonna use the gun as a "fighting gun" right?

slide releases

It is called a slide-stop. It's only purpose is to catch the slide. NEVER use it to release the slide.

What is so wrong about using the slide lock lever to release the slide?
