How are they for the money?
I have been shooting for the past 2 summers and am not an experienced shooter.
I've shot only 5 different revolvers as follows:
-1st was my brothers excellent condition S&W model 686 with 6 inch brl. I have about 400 handloads down range and my wife has 600 rds. down range.
This being the 1st handgun of any kind that we've shot all we can say is it seemed fine.
-2nd was our brand new high gloss stainless steel Ruger Single Six (single action) with a 6.5 inch brl. of which we have at least 1000 rounds of .22LR down range plus 300 or so .22 magnum (WMR). The SA trigger seems real good ie. lite but again we don't have much to compare it to.
-3rd was the absolute most beautiful double action revo I have ever seen or shot...a S&W .41 magnum model 657, 7.5" brl. and non-fluted cylinder. This is also the most powerful handgun I have ever shot and it shot straight, FLAT and FARRR! SA and DA trigger seemed quite smooth.
-4th is our brand new DA/SA .357magnum/.38 Special Taurus Tracker model 627 with 6.5 inch factory ported & fully ribbed barrel. Of all the revos I've shot this one has the least desirable double action trigger pull...not smooth and actually a bit gritty. S/A pull is perdy good...lite.
-5th and the best DA and SA trigger pull I have ever experienced was a well used 'ROSSI' .357magnum. I believe it was a model 972 in stainless with a
6 inch brl. I've heard the term 'buttery smooth' before but didn't know what it meant until I shot this Rossi.
This winter I want the smith to make my new Tracker trigger
''buttery smooth'
Thanks
