Found mine online for $650 a while back while most online sellers were looking for $800+. Couldn't find it locally either. I'm very happy with the gun and I think the gun is a great value for the price.

I just payed $699 at a LGS but there hard to find and it may be 3 months before they get another one.

Those are pretty typical prices. I saw several at the last DFW gun show ranging from $650 to $699. My LGS has 2 of the full-size guns at $829 ea., which they told me is the Ruger MSRP. Those 2 guns have been there for several weeks.

I love mine! It has a couple of thousand rds through it and no major issues. I put a fiber front sight on it as well as VZ grips.
I just bought a used STI Trojan and I still am better with the SR.
