Do any of you guys have experience with this carbine? I’m really attracted to the .45 ACP chambering! I realize Ruger just introduced these but was hoping some of you seized the opportunity early.

BTW, I really appreciate that it was designed to work with 13-round Glock .45 ACP magazines.

I’m very curious about this thread as well. I like my PC Carbine but it’s kinda nose heavy…. Hopefully this has better balance even though a bit heavier.

Thanks for starting this thread

I have the same question, it looks like what I want, but I'd like something better balanced than my PC9. Of course I love shooting the PC9, so I could talk myself into it anyways. :)

I wish they made the .45 in the takedown style of their 9mm carbines. Here in The Peoples Republik, the protruding grip of the new Ruger .45 makes it verboten. 😞

Stay safe.

I would buy one... I realize the increased velocity won't be as dramatic as a 44 Mag, but if you are interested in one .. I'd get it.

Frankly, ( and no offense intended to anyone ) the 45 ACP isn't as popular as it once was.

So , I can't help but wonder how long that specific model might be available.

And FYI, Ballistics By the Inch for the 45 ACP... some of the rounds tested show respectable velocity increases.

Here's another thread discussing these:

7.1 pounds unloaded
Blowback
16” barrel
Interested in any PCC that’s in 45 ACP for a suppressor host but not with the above stats.

And there are plenty of them out there. In my search for Ruger #19309, about 7-8 vendors show up with them in stock. Below is just one. So have at it gentlemen.

Guns.com $836.99

My LGS had two and I just bought one. Very impressed at first impression, will get to the range this week. Like the comments, I have very good feelings about the .45acp on this carbine.

Shot three mags at my range today. Trigger is good and crisp. Recoil is there but no issue. I put a Vortex Sparc optic on it and shot 6" steel targets at anywhere from 7 to 25 yards and hit almost every one repeatedly. So far I'm very pleased with this rifle.
