Living 8 miles from MidwayUSA is dangerous..... :D
I can order parts and pick them up later that day.

What you can't see are all the Volquartsen internals. New hammer, sear, etc. I never thought it had a bad trigger before. Now, very nice.

Cost was about 95 dollars. The volquartsen kit was on sale for about 75 and the grips were 20 something.

It took me about 15 minutes to swap the parts out. But I've had my Ruger apart several times for cleaning. It's quite easy to detail strip, despite what many people seem to think about taking them down for cleaning......

thanks for the info.
I have no problem taking it apart, its the getting it back together thats a PITA.
BUT I think I have the trick now, you have to hold it upside down and let gravity help with that linkage (I think thats what it is)
If you have any tips or web info to share it would be appreciated.

I think I have the exact same knife as that, in the first picture. Was a Christmas or birthday present awhile ago.

Do you have an Ultimate Cliploader? If not, that's definitely next on the list.
