Ruger Mini-14 Sights

I currently have a 580 series Mini-14. I love the rifle...except for the sights. Does anyone know of a better set of open sights that can be installed on it? I would like to find something that works along the same line as the A2 sights.

I bought a Mini about 1980, like you the sights were not for me. I made a rear V blade that would fit in place of the peep that came on the rifle, it worked great.
That was over 25 years ago so surely someone makes one by now. Check Brownell's etc.
