I recently bought a new ruger p95. As I was shooting the first clip through it I had about 3 jams. The next few clips did about the same thing. As I got up to around 100 rounds out of it it was jamming with every shot. Any suggestions. Thank you.:(
Oh yeah, I tried 4 different 115gr fmj loads in it. Did not seem to make a difference on the brand of ammo

Did you clean & lubricate it before your range trip? If not I would suggest doing so & then trying it again before doing anything else to it.

Clean and lube
Make sure the magazine is seated firmly all the way up into the grip.
Try different magazines. Mec Gar is my favorite. Stay away from Pro Mag.

at first it was just feed, then i had eject issues. I did clean and lube it before. Today I cleaned it really good again and put 30 more rounds through it. I only had 3 not feed in this time. Those 3 were out of one magazine. Next step is to try a next mag as suggested. Thank you guys I'll keep you posted

Some autos require a "break in". Usually when I get a new auto, I will clean it and then rack the slide a couple hundred times (no ammo), before I take it to the range.

With regards to failing to feed, make sure you are pulling the slide all the way back and release it, don't ride it forward.

"Limp wristing" can also cause malfunctions, some guns are more prone to this than others.

What does the feed ramp look like? Is it smooth?

Yeah the ramp is very smooth. I have noticed limp wristing a little bit. I now have about 200 rounds total through it. It was alot better today though.

You also may have another experienced shooter try your gun and see if they have the same problems. If they don't then it is perhaps your technique.

I believe when Ruger's are shipped, they are coated in a protective lubricant. My LCP came that way. I wonder if not cleaning it up throughly caused the problems. My P95 shot well right from the box. If you've never fired an automatic or are used to shooting revolvers, automatics are different. Thumbs up when you shoot.

Issue is still persistent. Talked to ruger and they are going to fix it. Thank you everyone for the help but no suggestions helped alot. Hopefully I'll be happy in a couple weeks!!

did they send you a shipping tag or do you have to pay for the shiping? Mine had some problems like the ones you were experiencing after about 400 rounds but I attributed them to the ammo. I took it home and thoroughly cleaned it out but haven't taken it to the range since to figure if the problem is gone.

They paid all shipping. I called them, explained my issues and in a half hour they had a prepaid shipping label from ups in my email. Checked back with them today to see when it would be ready. They think I'll have it by Saturday and they just got it Wednesday. Awesome CS so far from Ruger. I am however hoping I dont get it back before Sun. I have a concealed carry class in which I have to take my own hardware, that means I have to go buy another toy!!!!!!
