I bought this gun on Gunbroker several years ago. I found these grips on Ebay. I think they are called Herretts Shooting Stars. Giives it a nice feel.

Awesome! I've been considering these grips for some time. Every once in a while I come across them on various auction sites.

Actually I prefer Secret Service grips by Eagle.

Yep, all four of mine have SS grips. The Security Six I turned into a round butt design like the speed six beside it.

Sadly they don't make Speed Six grips anymore.

Hey, Deaf....

What kind of difference do you feel when shooting your stainless Speed-Six and your Security-Six (both short barrels)? Which do you prefer carrying and shooting? Does the extra weight of the Security-Six, including the thick topstrap, make any difference?

Well, I find the Security SIX snub to be a bit easier to shoot DA due to it being a bit heavier and better sights, but those same sights can snag when drawing from concealment.

Note I turned my Security SIX snub into a rnd butt and added Eagle Security Six stocks.

For ccw I prefer the Speed Six due to snag resistance. For general purpose, including home defence and now and then ccw the Security Six.
