Ruineger 44 carb

i just purchased a 1962 ruger 44 carbine and the top of the reciver is drilled and tapped with 2 sets of screw on top and then one at the normal begining of the barrel. i want to mount a red dot scope and need a short mounting bases to make the red dot fit. is there a 1 piece base for the 2 sets of mounting holes on the reciver?

The only mounts I can find for the Ruger Deer Stalker are the two piece Weaver's http://www.weaveroptics.com/mountcharts/default.aspx .

yes same here, but i have seen these guns with 2 piece on the reciver.

you might try the one piece for the 10-22. you could locate one set of holes and drill the base for the other if need be

I believe Weigand makes a 1 piece picatinny mount for that rifle.
