Russian SKS price

What would a good price be for a slightly used (less than 500rds) Russian SKS plus 100 rds of 7.62x39?
The guy is asking $300, which seems a bit high.

Depending on where you are, and the condition, asking prices are $250-$400.

In relative terms, there are not a lot of Russians out there, so the demand is higher, and subsequently asking prices are as well.

I'm in the Northern KY area, and honestly have not seen many Russians to compare this to.

For that price, in good condition, I'd jump all over it. Down here in LA, a Russian SKS - even a beat-up one - will fetch $350 quite easily. There are not too many of them out there, far less than Yugo, Norinco, etc.

there are a few of these floating around..the arsensal reworks with the black parked bolt and the original issue russian sks,theres even a limited number of parade rifles that are premium to collectors..they are all great shooters and theres nothing wrong with a rework..250 sounds like you did very well for either.

mines a russian NHM import out of sac california,absolutly mint and I paid very little for it way back when.If you got a chance to get one,get one,they are a good buy for what they are.
