Anyone heard the reason for the delay in S&W getting these guns out?
The press said guns+ammo were supposed to be available September, of course we see the problems with semiauto guns bursting cases if a heavier bolt is not fitted--but a couple gun manufacturer companies are shipping manual-action rifles. I have seen claims of the cases bursting at the firing pin strikes, but the rifles that are out all seem to use the same pins/bolts that the 22LR's do.
Taurus does not have any revolvers out either, for what that's worth.
I was pretty set on trying to get one ordered this month....
