I have a S&W 1905 4th change, made about 1921. It has a square butt. According to Supica's book, this is a rare model. Am I reading right? All of the ones I see on Gunbroker have a square butt. Just wondering.
Must be more to this then meets the eye. By 1921 square butt guns outnumbered the round butt kind. Square butt Military & Police revolvers are not rare or scarce at all.
