Hello all, I would like any help in determining exactly what I have here. I don't know the age but was told it was possibly made in the early 1920's. Ser # 182180 on the butt, cylinder, and the barrel. The number on the barrel is preceded by a "B", is that significant? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hey, Welcome to the forum. This type of thread is more appropriately placed in the revolver section, and there is even a thread specifically dedicated to this type of info.

It looks like a 3rd Model Hand Ejector of some flavor to me, but I'm no expert. Hmmm, maybe a 2nd. The finish is great on that gun. There are some really knowledgeable folks that hang out here and have a lot of data. they'll chime in. I'm going to alert a mod so this gets moved for you. Enjoy the info sharing.

And understand in discussing the gun that CTG is an abbreviation for cartridge.
It's a part of the caliber designation, not a model designator.

.32 Hand Ejector, 5th Change, made 1910-1917.

The "B" on the barrel indicates it was originally blued finish and has been aftermarket nickel or chrome plated. Resale value is therefore low, but these can be sweet shooters if you don't mind scrounging up or loading the ammo.
