THINKING OF BUYING ONE BUT LOOKING FOR IMPUTE FORM OWNERS.......THANKS. ANY PREFERANCE BETWEEN 5" OR 6" BARRELS. NO I'M NOT YELLING AT YOU IT'S LOUD IN HERE!

heh...

Greatest revolver EVAR!!11!!! :scrutiny:

I own one with the five inch barrel in .357 person I bought it from had slicked up the action. Points extremely well and the trigger in DA snaps through so fast it feels like a single action if you do it right.

Excellent revolver! There was a similar thread within a month or so ago. Do a search. Wasn't aware that there was a six inch version, my five inch is quite muzzle heavy(good), but another inch might be too much of a good thing.

I have a 5 inch PC version. great balance and feels just like my 625 4 inch PC... I enjoy it....

Nice shooter! I have had mine for awhile. I put some nice wood hogue grips on mine and plan on putting a red dot on it also. It everyones attention when I pull it out of my range bag:)

Excellent gun. I've had mine for a couple of years and still shoot the daylights out of it. Liked it so much I sent it back for laser engraving.
It's got Nill grips now, also very nice.

Can't someone please say at least one bad thing about the 627 or I will be forced to buy one!

Sorry..

I really can't. It's something every .357 lover needs to own. I think it is the perfect revolver due to the extra capacity and shootability. Every bit the equal of the 1911.

8-shooters....

...can be blown up more easily if you double charge the handload! There...that's the only bad thing I can think of.:)

Bob.

I bought a PC 627 not long ago. In a word - awesome. Quickly became my favorite shooter.

Yeah, I can say something bad about the 627--they're no challenge to shoot well. If you want a challenge you'll have to go elsewhere.

When acquiring targets in action pistol competition the heavy gun moves slowly like a battleship whereas the M66 is part of my hand. Nice to have the 8 rounds, though.

Buy it anyway or you'll have regrets.

OK, only one bad thing, The 627 is not as quick to load when compared to a 625. The two extra rounds, the length of the cases, and the loose fit of the rounds on the moonies, work against the speed load a bit.... But it is not really allowed in IDPA anyway.... So no big deal....

627s

are not useful in IPSC either since you can only fire six rounds from each cylinderful. You could use a 627 in Open and Production classes though:D

But they do come in "Sexy" tu-tone
