S&W 99, does it have the "Anti-Stress" trigger?

Obviously the Smith & Wesson 99 and the Walther P99 have a lot in common. The frames are both made by Walther, just the slide and barrel are made by S&W for the SW99.

One of the things that attracts me to the P99 is the AS trigger, but the SW99s have a lifetime warranty. So I have two questions about the SW99:

1) Does it have the Anti-Stress trigger too?
2) Does it have the first generation Walther frames? Meaning it has the "ski bump" inside the trigger guard and the mag release lever is not as long as on the current P99s.

1: Yes, same modes.
2: No, the trigger guard is not even the same as the 2nd generation P99s, the S&W 99 looks to have it's "own" trigger guard.

I like the new trigger guard of the P99, it still has this sexy look.
Why not a P99?

The P99 doesn't come in .45ACP, its why I went with the SW99 instead.

My SW99 in .45 is an incredible shooter. I own both Walther (P99 AS 1st Gen, P99C) and S&W (SW99C and SW99 .45) and you can't go wrong with either.

Well, Walther has a 1 year warranty, Smith & Wesson is lifetime, that's a big deal. All else equal, I'd get the Walther P99C just for the better looks. I'm also looking at 9mm or .40 S&W, so both guns fit the bill, so to speak. 9mm is great for availability, it is the undisputed most popular round. It's also cheaper to shoot and reload for, which is a bonus. .40 S&W on the other hand, is the king of "one shot stop" calibers for autoloading pistols (.357 Magnum being the all-time "one shot stop" for handguns in general).

My catalog lists the SW99 with a DAO trigger. The web site says "short double action". That sounds like the QA trigger. Walther offers DAO, AS and QA triggers.
