Competition with gas piston AR is heating up. Picked up a new 2009 S&W catalog this week found it interesting. It shows the S&W M&P15 PS. Looks S&W will also be coming out with a gas piston AR of its own.
The bolt carrier looks very much like Ruger new AR gas gun from what I can see in the pictures. Looks like it has 3 different positions on the gas regulator system to allow for different pressure ammo to be used.
