Just how rare are the pre war factory chrome plated hand eject pistols? Yes, I know the difference between nickel and chrome and that many were chromed later in life. I believe I have stumbled upon a factory chrome 6" square butt prewar 38special 4th model hand ejector. I'm curious just how many of these guns might exist. Thanks.

I intend to get a letter if that is still possible. Supica's book It list that a small amount where factory chromed but does not mention a number. I have not contacted roy jinks yet but that is also on the list of things to do next. Thanks jim
