Saiga .308 gas block measurement needed

Fellow Shooters,

I'm looking for someone who can give me the measurements on a Saiga .308 gas block. I am getting ready to purchase a clamp on front sight base from ACE that clamps directly onto the upper portion of the gas block. I contacted ACE and they don't know the measurements of a .308 Saiga, so any help would be appreciated. The measurement I'm primarily concerened with is the width of the gas block. Hopefully the Saiga gas block is a duplicate of one currently used on another weapon.

I'd do it myself but I don't have access to a micrometer.

FWIW, I'd measure for ya, if I had a Saiga.....

I'm surprised Ace doesn't know if it will fit since they engineered it.

They do make them for a large and small gas block AK, but the Saiga .308 is a different kind of bird..kinda like a hybrid.

If it will fit I'll use one of those and also install a AR15 stock adapter that allows the AK to use AR stocks.
