It seems as if the person who stopped the CO church shooter was X-LEO, female, a volunteer, had a LOT of sand in her craw and knew how to be effective with her firearm. (Sounds like a citizen with a CCW to me-with exceptional courage.)
I would just like to offer my sincere congratulations to her and to acknowledge her heroic act.
I am not sure by any means that I would have the courage to run TOWARD the sound of the gunfire as she is said to have done. There is NO WAY we can ever know how many lives she saved as the shooter was reported to have an 'assault' rifle, 2 handguns and 1000 rounds of ammo. She negated all his advantages, however, saved untold lives and saved the taxpayers a LOT of money.
I sincerely hope she never has a thought of regret at having to end this act of domestic terror by putting air vents in the truly screwed up individual intent on murder and mayhem.
I salute you my dear lady and if given the chance, I would buy a toast to you!
