San Antonio Weekend...Two Needs: Range & Steak House

No one mentioned the hunting. Most ranchers are catering to hunters now to supplement their income so many places near SA are available. For a big town SA is pretty friendly but the smaller towns are known for friendly people. i love being within two hours of SA for those quick trips.

I'm glad everything worked out well. Come back now, Ya hear?

No, I didn't have the baked potato soup. All the same, you know the meal was great when, even as I sit here and type this morning, 3 weeks later, I still recall precisely what I had:

22 Oz steak
baked potato w/ butter & sour creme
mixed veggies
tossed salad with house dressing
iced tea with lemon
and bread...oh that was good bread!

Saltgrass was a great call!!!
