I'm debating between two almost identical rifles, both in .223, the Savage 11F and the Remington 700 ADL. Both have synthetic stocks, both have iron sights, both have blued barrels in similar lengths (22" for Savage, 24" for Remington). The price difference is minimal--about $20.

Help me decide. Thanks!

I don't think you can go wrong with either. Try them both and see which one feels better to you. I went with Savage, and I'm pleased with the accuracy of the rifle.

JMHO....

My Remington 700 synthetic stock, seem to kick less than my Savage with synthetic stock - identical caliber and ammo.

700 ADL. I had nothing but problems with my old Savage. My 700 is still working strong is a damn sight more accurate.

Go with the Savage! The accutrigger is great and the accuracy can't be beat. I would buy another without question.
