Up on the rifle section I have a query about the savage 219 rifle. As I understand it the Savage 220 is the same gun but with a shot gun barrel.
In my tromping about the Internet It seems that the 219 rifle was offered with additional barrels to include the 220 series shotgun barrels.
One paper source here at the house list various combinations of .30-30 and .22 Hornet rifle barrels with 12 and 16 gauge rifle barrels.
An online source indicated that .32-20 and .25-20 barrels as well as a 20 gauge were also available.
Any how this seems somewhat like a TC Carbine, but in 1935.
I am interested in any info on this "shotgun"
Please post whatever you have.
Thanks.
