Hey guys,
Saw an article about this bolt action .308 a while back and I really liked the looks. Has anybody shot/owned one of these? What would you think about using it for a multi-purpose hunting rifle and paper puncher?

I have one and like it. It's a bit heavy for hunting here in the Rockies, but is a great medium to long distance rifle. I'm still getting used to the Accu-Trigger (set too light, it can trip to a safety notch when closing the bolt), and I need better optics, but I enjoy shooting it at metal plates out to 400 yards. The stock is comfortable and has a decent recoil pad. It is not a high end precision rifle, but is a great gun for the money.

I also have one and do use it for hunting. It is extremely accurate for me at the 100 and 150 yard range. I do not try to shoot over that range. I use a Burris Fullfield II 3-9X scope and it serves me and the rifle very well. My accutrigger was set in the factory and I do not touch it. It works very well for me.

Remember, real life shooting is not just sitting at table with rifle in a caldwell or laying on sand bags. You may be in the woods and leaning on a tree or using a shooting stick or you may walk upon a target and fire quickly in the off hand position. If that is your purpose, that's what you should practice and your expectations should match with the reality of your hunting.

Regards,

Ed
