I have recently acquired a Ruger 10/22 Target. It is a very nice rifle with good looks, and it shoots very good. I was wondering what scopes the brilliant minds at THR recommend for this fine rifle. My Dad has a BSA Sweet 22 3x9x40 on his. What are your thoughts?

I have a Bushnell Rimfire 3-9X on my 10/22 with a composite stock and varmint barrel. On my old 10/22 I used a Tasco 4X Deer rifle scope. Both worked just fine but I think this Bushnell is just the ticket for under $100.

I have a Burris 4 - 12 rimfire/airgun scope on a Ruger 77/22 mag and a Burris 3 - 9 rimfire?airgun scope on a Ruger10/22 target. both have parallax adjust which I think you need on a 22. both are very good scopes

if I've said it once, I'll say it again... If it says bsa, then run away!!!
I like a mueller, swift, nikon, burris, or Tasco varmint series, on these rifles; correct size, good clarity, no parrallax, good price.

Just put on a 3x9 Simmons 22mag scope with an adjustable objective on a 10/22 with a Tactical Solutions barrel and works fine has finger adjustable turrets also. Also have a fixed 4 power 22 mag on a Remington 597 for the price they were a good deal from Natchez.

I have a "Focal" brand 3x pellet-gun scope on my 10/22, and it's damned accurate to 50 yards.

*Extra credit, anybody remember who sold Focal optics?

spend less money and buy an NCstar,
they aren't as bad as people say.
they are made in china, but so is the entire set of clothes you are wearing right now.
oh, that could lead to some awkward comments. let's go with.... shoes.

I have a few ncstars that I use on mosins, .22s and my mauser.
They hold zero perfectly for me, and are very clear for the price.
On a 10-22 I can't see any problem with it.
