I have been looking at scopes, im looking at the Leupold rimfire line 2-7x28mm.
It says "With its special 60 yard parallax correction distance setting" , what does that mean? Im a huge newb to scopes.

It will most likely end up on a Bolt action Marlin 925R.

Simplified version

At sixty yards, the cross hair won't move around if you move your head around. I think 150 yards is normal for scopes without an adjustable adjective.

Check out the Leu 3-9X33 EFR. (It has an adjustable objective.) You can dial out the parallax down to 10 meters.

Ah, thanks atblis i read a really confusing explanation that didnt help at all.
And thanks for the name of that scope as well hksq

Parallax is the shift in impact that occurs when your eye is not perfectly centered behind the crosshairs. When a scope is set to be parallax free at a given distance that effect is zero at that range. The shift in impact due to parallax gets larger the further (closer or further) the target is from the specified range.

Ya i know :). Leupold was what i was looking at when i found one that said 60 yard parallax and i was like o_O para what?
That 3-9x33 EFR seems like itd be just what id need, but i cant find a price?

Edit found the price, its more then twice the price of the rifle im getting :X
