Gary G23,
I use it in every weapon I own. It's very good ammo. The price is right, and it's fairly accurate. It's brass cased, so it can be reloaded. I shoot it in every caliber from .25 thru .45 and very rarely have a problem with any of it.

good luck, and be safe.

SILENT ONE

In 9mm, S&B or WWB are my prefered locally available choices.

In 45, I've grown to prefer S&B over WWB.

It's good stuff... get it. ;)

You can get it delivered from an online retailer just as cheap as Winchester White Box at Walmart. I find it to be slightly cleaner than white box, too. It's all I use now that the ranges I go to have banned CCI Blazer.

S&B's quality control has been disparaged by some folks (reputable trainers who see more ammo shot in a day than I do in a year), but I'll add my $.02 that I've shot cases of it in 9mm, .40S&W, and .45ACP, all FMJ, and never had a problem.

S&B loads their ammo a little "hotter" than average for the caliber, I think, which is a good thing AFAIC, and once in a while you'll come across a hard primer (hit it again), but it's pretty good stuff for plinking and practice, IMNSHO.
I wouldn't use it for CCW, personally. That deserves only premium JHP ammo.

Best.

It's my primary 9mm practice ammo as is their .32, .45, .40S&W, .38 Special and I've even shot some of the .357.

It's accurate and reliable. The only problem with it is you have to clean up the red laquer used to seal the primers. It's not a big deal though. The benefit is that they are sealed against moisture so buy it by the case with no worries.
