Can't say the name, either, but all the calibres I have tried have been VERY GOOD.

I love the stuff, on those occasions when I buy factory ammo. The brass works great for reloading, too.

And I cheat on the name. "S & B"

I can't pronounce it either. :D

Cheaper than Dirt Makes the statement in their catalog that US ammo manufacturers sublet certain runs of ammo to S&B. The CO. has been in business for over 100 yrs.!

I don't know why Front Sight would ban it. My experience has been that it's good accurate stuff. Perhaps they keep the brass people expend as a revenue source and find it hard to reload.

Great ammo. I have .303 British cases which must be worn out but won't give in.

More than 20 reloads and NO signs which would make me scrap them.

mr blove

S&B ammo, especially the .223 you just bought, is decent ammo, and that's a very good price for it. Another brand you might want to consider in .223 is Fiocchi. Very good quality with very consistent performance and accuracy to match. I picked up some last year at a gun show and regretted I had not bought more of it at the time. When the next gun show came around, the dealer I bought it from was all sold out of it, with no more on the way.

I am reloader. I don´t like S&B .308Win cases. Too low primer pocket. 9mm Luger cases makes very poor groups at 100 yards with my T/C G2-pistol. Sako and Lapua cases are always ok.
