Shark, to me, is classy and rugged in the same breath. Coupled with a beautiful 1911, it makes for a very nice carry package.

The pistol shown is my personal daily carry gun.
The grip safety is pinned but the dreaded Series 80 firing pin safety is active!

Thanks for noticing my new knife!
Here it is unmolested from the manufacturer:
I changed the pocket clip and a few other features.
It's replacing my Benchmade 2500 Mini-Reflex as a daily carry.

I like shark a lot. I like stingray also but I see more of that around as it is more flashy I suppose. The Hispanic community around me greatly favors exotic leathers for belts and wallets and boots and such.
For some reason even though I've asked for it, stingray is easily found but they don't do leatherwork in sharkskin.

Sweet! I've got a shark skin belt from Milt Sparks and 2 VMII's in Horsehide/shark
I don't have full shark outer like yours though, wish I did. but mine is IWB so I guess that's why it's not. I gotta ask what did you drop on it?
Shark is extremely durable, tough as nails! It will outlast you and your grandkids!

The leather is steer hide or horse hide in Feibing's Pro Saddle Tan and the Black is all Shark Skin.

Beautiful leather. Sharkskin wears like iron! While guiding in the Keys, I handled a whole bunch of sharkskin...in the untanned state. It's just as tough while it's still on the critter.
Glad to see you posted some shots of that new knife BEFORE it got the Rogers treatment. Nice job!!

Can we see more pics of the steel? What is it? It sure looks classy.
Eric of HBE leather went through some personal problems last year IIRC and left many people without their money or their holsters. Or was it the year before? As nice as his work is, I don't believe that I could trust him to deliver the goods after being witness to all the drama that played out before.

I don't know Eric very well, but in my experience, he is a trustworthy gentleman.
I am aware of previous problems. I am also aware of his work to correct them.

Moga.......great questions and comments. I did file bankruptcy and had no choice to add my business to it....trust me~~~I didnt want to. I did piss alot of people off but that was out of my control. Im making everyone their leather that paid me.....Im not ripping anyone off. Im currently making leather and not charging the customer until its being made....thats the only way I will do it now and need to keep doing it to pay for life, kids and my backlog that is getting caught up on slowly.
Given that I dont want payment until its being made, there are no trust issues.
Not for me anyway....my current clientel and most of the people I hear from that are on the bankruptcy have no beef with me either. All of them are glad to get their leather.
Regardless of what I say or do to make it right, there are those who will not contact me to get there leather and choose to just bitch about it on the net and I cant do a thing about that.
Chuck is a stand up guy and knows everything in my past. He can tell you about his order if he chooses to......and Ill tell you guys, He makes one hell of a sweet 1911! Best Ive ever seen.....bar none.
