I ordered a stock and a small sight last week from Numrich. The total for the order was $50.51 and shipping was $4.55. I did an online order and used a coupon code to save on shipping they gave me to hang up and do the order online.
For whatever reason, they broke up the order and shipped me the small sight first.
Today, I get a note from USPS that they are holding the other part of the order package (which is the stock) waiting for me to pay another $10.20 for shipping. There was a yellow sticky note from the postman saying:
"Flat Rate Envelope" postage was used on this parcel. It needs "3lb Priority parcel rate" thus postage due is $10.20. Thanks!
Anyhow, I think Numrich should credit me back $10.20 that I now have to additionally pay to get my package. Does this seem like a reasonable request? They accepted payment online for shipping and looks like they tried to send a parcel with flat rate envelope postage which was not enough and I should not have to cover it.
Thoughts?
Thanks!
