Do any of you play?
I have a PS2 and just recently beat Call of Duty Finest Hour.
Great game. Shooting Nazi's never gets old:evil:

What's up with NRA Gun Club on Playstation 2?
This game sucks!
Every gun, from the .22 through the .45 shoots the EXACT same:barf:

You would think that if the NRA and/or the represented name-brand firearms manufacturers had anything to do with it, they would have at least made it so that there was at least some distinction between the different firearms represented...

Team Fortress 2. I'm not for the simulation games so much as just a quick and fun game.

I used to be pretty hardcore with the Battlefield: series of games, but eventually got tired of it. Too many people took it way too seriously. Video games aren't training for anything but the game itself. I'm a very oldschool gamer (Heck I had a console that played 21 versions of PONG, and know what Akalabeth is)....I know how some people get into games, I just eventually saw that taking it too seriously has a toll in other places in my life...so now it's a once/twice a week affair at most.

That means little time to learn a new game all the time. Usually I play single player RPGs anymore (last one was Dragon Age: Origins), as that can be done 20-30mins at a time. For FPS, I just keep playing a game I like until nobody is really playing anymore, then move on.

I play em all. PC for the past 15 years, PS3 starting recently. Currently battling my way through Left 4 Dead 2 with idiot online teammates. I'm somewhat amused by the SCAR with its 3 shot burst.

Looking forward to Battlefield Bad Company 2 on PC. Playing FPS on a gamepad is like eating soup with a fork.

FPS are my favorite kinds. as one person stated "shooting nazis never gets old," now im finding that to be true with a lot of things like terrorists.

I have Call of Duty World at War on my Wii. That's one of the most difficult FPS games I have ever played just based ont he method of firing. You have to aim as though you're point-shooting with a pistol. crazy difficult to get used to.

One year in the dorms at my university we had a group of ten of us that played the first Call of Duty team deathmatch. I just bought my first (and then soon after second) Mosin Nagant 91/30 and all I can think of every time I shoot it is playing Call of Duty!

The more I learn about guns the harder it is to enjoy games, like M16 and a G3 have the same 'damage" rating on call of duty modern warefare 2 and people snipe with mp40's on the WW2 one.

^

If you think that's bad, I used to memorize aiming points with the M203 in America's Army and wipe out the enemy team as soon as they spawn.

If you have a PS3 try this: http://bannco.com/
I just picked it up today so I could play some MW2, KZ2 and Boderlands like they should be played on our PS3. I just can't get used to that pad.
There is also talk that there will be a way to use a keyboard/mouse with the PS3 too.
This thread is so going to get busted. Shame on all of you ...and me. :neener:

This'll probably get closed down due to OT, but I'm also guilty of loving FPS. Some things are loads of fun in video games that are less than no fun in real life, like getting shot at. Some things are fun in real life but not much fun in video games, like fishing, bowling, etc.

Call of Duty World at War made me want to get a 1911 and a M1 Garand, and also got me interest in guns. FPS games can also be unrealistic in a downright funny way too, take the way Modern Warfare 2 does damage points.

Every year my family buys one video game at Christmas. For the last two years it has been for the Wii... I have two kids so we never wanted to make it a "big" deal... last year was madden, this year was resident evil.

In the past we had COD4 for the Game Cube... lol... game cube...

If anyone has any good suggestions for shooting games for the Wii I would consider them for next year.
