I know this is a scary situation for anyone, but I want to shake this womans hand.
Woman admits killing ex-boyfriend
A Clayton County woman admitted she shot and killed her ex-boyfriend Sunday -- four days after the expiration of a court order for him to stay away from her, police said. No charges are planned against Jodie Beth Swanner, 36, who told police she shot John Michael Moores, 35, once in the chest and once in the shoulder, said Clayton police Capt. Jeff Turner. Moores pleaded guilty last year to making harassing phone calls and criminal trespass against Swanner and her children. Early Sunday morning, Swanner said, she returned to her home in the La Costa Mobile Home Park near Hampton to find that someone had cut off her electricity. Moores emerged from the darkness, threatened her and approached as if to hurt her, she told police.
