The one i go to is in Huntsville,Alabama at Larry's Pawn & Pistol

The range fee is 10 dollars and if you want to rent a handgun you simply purchase a box of ammo for the selected gun

Here in RI

I belong to a club that has a 200 yd range, berm, shed to hold cardboard. Also stocked pond, trap house, ~200 acres, $225/yr dues.
Most times I go there I'm the only one on the range.

Angeles ranges. Outdoor range. $10.00 for the day

They have steel sillouette targets from 25 yards out to 200 yards. They also have three different sets of paper targets to set up at different distances. They sell all sorts of supplies and ammo if you need. Then on weekends there is a hot dog vendor that comes down. Overall nice relaxing. very well supervised lots of range officers willing to help. Just a great place to hang out and relax and shoot.

TopGun Indoor range $220 yearly also allows you to shoot matches usually $20 a match with payouts, Each firearm will knock $15 off your renewal. Hourly rate $15
Arnold Rifle and pistol club (outdoor range) $225 yearly allows you to shoot matches usually $5 no payouts, must be a yearly member to shoot.

George Washington and Jefferson National Forests public outdoor ranges (numerous rifle and pistol ranges in VA and WV). All free, just show up and shoot (they are all open pretty much dawn to dusk, 365 days/year).

Some have donation boxes, and if so, I always put something in the kitty to help pay for backstops and upkeep.

I go to my back yard where I have a 25 yard handgun range set up...It's free...For 200 yards I go just across the road to my neighbor's pasture where we have a 200 yard rifle range set up...It's free too...

Hernando Sportsmans Club in Brooksville, Fl Yearly membership is $65 and $1 dollar each trip. Great Facility and good people running it and I live only 15 minutes away

Desert Sportsman Rifle and Pistol Range, Las Vegas, NV
It is an outdoor- member's only range with private bays and ranges out to 600 yds. Annual dues are $175 per year and there are multiple matches every weekend. No pro shop or full time range officers.

The downside is the 4 year waiting list.
