I got the rifle a couple of weeks back and took it out for the first time yesterday. This rifle is a blast to shoot! It fired everything I ran through it with only one misfire and that was a dead round. It ate Federal, Remington, and Winchester ammo with no problems. All were 36 gr. HP. I also fired the new Winchester rounds made especially for the AR .22 rifles with no issues. A friend had purchased them, but I personally would not buy them since they cost more, and my regular .22 ammo works fine.

It was sighted in from the factory almost dead on. I took it two clicks to the left. It also performed flawlessly when doing rapid fire shooting. This rifle is well-made and will be great for training my kids for the AR-15 since all the controls are the same. I might throw a red dot on it, but we were hitting golf balls from 25 yards pretty easily with the open sights.

Best thing about this rifle was it only cost me $14.... I cashed in a bunch of Holiday Inn points to get some Cabela's gift cards. For the rest of you, it will be $479.99 plus tax.

Nice! But you forgot pichers!!! I have been so tempted to either get a .22 M&P or get a dedicated .22 upper for my AR. Heck they barely kick shooting 5.56, I bet the .22 is fun, and cheap to shoot.

Never shot a 10-22. I would say a 5 shot group fit within a quarter from 35-40 yards. Distance is not exact but close. Pictures will be up this weekend, but I wanted to post some feedback now.

I picked one up last summer. They're great. They're light, which helps the fairer sex and the children manage holding them up. And they flat work with all sorts of .22 ammo, which is unusual for a .22 AR system.

S&w m&p 15-22 rifle

Sleepyone: My Son and I have 2 of them and we have had a great time with them. Super acurate, I am told they have matched barrles and I belive that. They are two of the best shooting 22 LR`S we have and just a hoot to shoot. Very light and easy to carry 6 position stock I belive. The more I shoot this rifle the more I like it. WE have been going to a few of the 22 LR action shoots and we are having a great time. Most everybody wants to shoot them and everbody so far has said they really enjoyed shooting them. We are seeing more and more S&W M&P 15-22 at the shoots and ranges we go to. This is just a fun gun to shoot. GOOD LUCK TO YOU: ken

yep, they really eat up any ammo you run through them from what I have seen and read. I can't wait to have my daughters and wife shoot it. My youngest daughter does not care for shooting, but this may finally win her over. Ripping off 25 rounds in quick succession with no recoil to speak of is just plain fun.

The polymer parts concerned me at first, but the parts that need to be metal are, so I'm not going to fret. If anything, I don't have to be concerned about scratching the finish on most of the rifle!
