I am of the opinion that shotgunning should be done with your eyes open. Most of the people around here shut their off eye. What do you do?

I leave my eyes open with my bow, with my red dot, most of my scopes, ghonst rings usually, and open sights sometimes.

Hang on till tomorrow,Zahc. I was preparing an article on cross dominance and eye/hand co-ordination, give me a few hours to polish it.

I'm sure other folks here will give you good advice meanwhile. This is a great resource....

Both eyes open, there are very few people that are wired so that they cannot shoot with both eyes open, other than those few it MUST be both eyes open, and that applies to shotguns, rifles (even scoped) and pistols. Many people refuse to learn to shoot with both eyes open and limit how good they could be, more so under pressure.

I suppose you could argue that it would help rule 4-- be sure of your target. SEE what you're shooting.

or see what youre missing..lol:neener:note; especially if its 8 ft tall, hairy and foaming at the mouth mad
