short barrel 9 mm

looking for load to use in a 9 mm sub compact.
Has anyone here used 5.7 gr of 231 win behind a 90 gr hp in a 1 7/8 inch barrel

I load for a couple of 9mm sub compacts with HS6 or Longshot. I like the Longshot for the 124 gr. and 147 gr. bullets. The HS6 really shines with the lighter bullets. In my personal opinion, 231 is too fast burning for my taste. I don't care for fast burning powders at all, they are temparmental and cause noticable changes to pressures and velocities, even in small increments of .1 grs. -.2 grs.. But the good news is, reloading allows each of us to use the recipe that we choose, so load on and enjoy!
